Migration Poem by devyani Narayan

Migration

Spread the love

One day a little bird visited me on my window.
Damaged.
She might have survived the storm last night, it might have costed the small nest she created.

Certainly, it reminded me of my lover.
Unprecedentedly damaged.
She had survived a storm too which life put her through.
Unlike the bird, she fell away from her abode; the cage was now empty.
